Mazatlán, Sin.- Con el objetivo de brindar mejores opciones de movilidad en Mazatlán, especialmente a unos días de iniciar el periodo vacacional de Semana Santa, el gobernador Rubén Rocha Moya inauguró y abrió a la circulación la pavimentación de la Avenida Delfín, que representó una inversión de 160 millones de pesos, y que vendrá a funcionar como un eje vial adicional a las avenidas Camarón Sábalo y La Marina.
Acompañado por el presidente municipal de Mazatlán, Edgar Augusto González Zataráin, el gobernador Rocha abrió a la circulación este moderno bulevar, restando sólo detalles menores de jardinería en su camellón central, pero el propósito es ofrecer a los miles de visitantes que arribarán desde este fin de semana al puerto, otra opción de movilidad, pues durante Semana Santa se recrudece el tráfico vehicular.
El mandatario estatal refirió que la pavimentación de la Avenida Delfín también significa un acto de equidad y justicia con las colonias populares de Mazatlán, pues sectores como Chulavista, las colonias Francisco Villa, Libertad, Infonavit Playas, y la colonia Pueblo Nuevo, tendrán una vía de acceso directa hacia el sector de La Marina y la zona hotelera, lo que se conoce como la zona dorada de Mazatlán.
“Esto nos ayudará a oxigenar a las colonias populares, para que no se diga que nada más pensamos en la zona donde se atraen a los turistas. No podemos generar una suerte de confrontación en que si la zona dorada o si las colonias populares, lo mejor que debemos hacer es atenderlas integralmente a todas, pues en las zonas populares vive la gente que trabaja allá y necesitamos equidad y justicia, eso es lo que estamos haciendo”, precisó.
El gobernador Rocha agradeció la colaboración de la API (ahora llamada ASIPONA), para la realización de esta etapa de dos kilómetros, entre Avenida del Atlántico y la glorieta Chulavista, a la entrada de la colonia del mismo nombre, y el compromiso es continuarla hasta Cerritos. “Es una calle enorme y la vamos a continuar, para efectos de generar la movilidad, pues esto nos da una suerte de paralelismo con la Camarón Sábalo”.
Este nuevo tramo de la Avenida Delfín es de 1 mil 900 metros, consta de seis carriles de concreto hidráulico, banquetas de tres metros de ancho, y una ciclovía a lo largo del trazado, para el cual fue necesario la construcción de dos puentes vehiculares para cruzar los canales.
También acompañaron al gobernador Rocha, el secretario general de Gobierno, Enrique Inzunza Cázarez; el secretario de Obras Públicas, José Luis Zavala Cabanillas; el secretario de Economía, Javier Gaxiola Coppel; y el director general de la ASIPONA Mazatlán (Administración del Sistema Portuario Nacional), contraalmirante Mariel Aquileo Ancona Infazón.
