Y aunque aquí no estamos hablando de inteligencia artificial, dudamos que el último robot de la empresa italiana TorArt, especialista en mármol, guste a los escultores.
Con el estudio ubicado en el distrito de canteras de Carrara en Italia, sus cofundadores de Robotor, Filippo Tincolini y Giacomo Massari, se inspiraron en la historia local y su amor por el arte para crear dicho dispositivo.
El dispositivo, denominado Robotor, cuenta con un brazo mecánico mediante electromandriles así como un cambio automático de herramienta, lo que le permite tallar diversos materiales como mármol o piedra. Es extremadamente resistente, especialmente ante cargas pesadas, y se adapta muy bien a todos los ambientes.
Antes de cada tallado, los usuarios deben definir su velocidad, las diferentes fases de procesamiento y la potencia de molienda mediante el software de programación OR-OS. De esta forma, el robot primero analizará los materiales con los que tiene que trabajar para conocer sus propiedades, antes de empezar a esculpir. Al final de su trabajo, terminará puliendo y espolvoreando la escultura con chorros de agua.

Today, I went to the beach front with my children.
